No. Every reservation is a soft reservation and no payment is required at this stage. A member of the LYD team confirms pricing, availability, and your delivery window within one business day, and nothing is charged until you have agreed those details.

Your configuration and quantity, plus your full name, email, phone, country, and city so we can confirm the order and coordinate delivery and install. There is also an optional notes field for site details, install timing, or anything else we should know.

You will see an immediate confirmation on screen showing the product, quantity, and configuration we have held for you, and a confirmation goes to your email. The LYD team then reaches out within one business day to confirm pricing, availability, and delivery.

Yes. You can change your configuration up to dispatch. Mention it when the team contacts you, or reply to your confirmation email.

Yes. Quantity is set on the reservation form, from a single unit upward. For large commercial, fleet, or utility-scale volumes, note it in the notes field and the team will handle the order directly.

Reservations are open now. Our first products — the LYD Orbit and LYD Safecell — are expected to launch in 2027, and reserving today locks in your build slot. The team will confirm the delivery window for your area when they contact you.

We do not publish fixed prices, because configuration, quantity, install requirements, and your location all move the final figure. The LYD team confirms pricing with you directly within one business day of your reservation. There is no obligation and no payment until you have agreed it.

LYD coordinates delivery and installation as part of the order. Our installers confirm the specifics of your site at survey, including whether your equipment should be indoor or outdoor rated.

Orbit inverters come in IP20 for indoor installation and IP66 for outdoor or harsh environments. SafeCell batteries come in IP21 indoor and IP65 outdoor. Both the Orbit and SafeCell pages carry an IP guide to help you choose, and our installers confirm at survey.

LYD is designed to work as one coordinated ecosystem — Photon, Orbit, and SafeCell are built around each other and speak to each other through Lucid OS. Orbit is specified for LYD SafeCell at 48 V nominal. If you have existing hardware, tell the team when they contact you and they will advise at survey.

Six hardware families and one software platform. Photon HJT solar panels; Orbit smart inverters for homes and Orbit X for commercial and industrial sites; SafeCell home batteries and Hyperpack utility-scale storage; ARC NET EV charging; the LYD electric vehicles; and Lucid OS, the operating system that runs all of it.

Photon is built on Heterojunction (HJT) cells rather than the more common PERC. That buys three things: up to 25.4% module efficiency; a temperature coefficient of −0.24% per °C against roughly −0.34% for PERC, which matters a great deal on a rooftop that touches 60 °C; and roughly half the degradation rate over the panel life. Every Photon is bifacial, so the back glass adds yield on top of nameplate.

The range runs from the Photon 400 at 400 W for residential roofs, through the 595 W for light commercial and the 650 W for commercial, up to the 720 W flagship for utility-scale arrays. All four share the same cell technology, bifacial construction, and warranty.

The residential range runs from Orbit One at 1.5 kW continuous up to Orbit Nine at 20 kW, which is three-phase and can be paralleled beyond 100 kW. Every SKU is available in Off-grid or Hybrid mode and in IP20 or IP66, giving 20 variants in total. For commercial and industrial sites, Orbit X50 delivers 50 kW and parallels to 300 kW, and Orbit X125 delivers 125 kW and parallels to 1.25 MW.

Off-grid runs from solar and SafeCell only, with built-in load prioritisation when reserves get low. Hybrid stays grid-tied, switches sources automatically, and can sell surplus back where regulations permit. When the grid drops on a Hybrid unit, the switchover to battery is fast enough that the lights do not blink. You choose the mode when you reserve.

LFP — lithium iron phosphate — rated for 6,000+ cycles at 80% depth of discharge with 95% round-trip efficiency. The residential range spans a 5 kWh wall-mount unit up to a 32 kWh floor-standing commercial pack, and the stackable SKUs scale to 30 kWh or 45 kWh across six modules.

Yes. Hyperpack is the utility-scale line, from 1 MW / 2 MWh in a single cabinet up to 10 MW / 20 MWh, tiling in parallel beyond 100 MW. It uses liquid-cooled LFP prismatic cells rated beyond 8,000 cycles, with pack-level fire suppression and off-gas sensing, and reports into Lucid OS Enterprise over SCADA, Modbus, and DNP3.

Lucid OS is our proprietary operating system, and it runs on every piece of hardware LYD ships — inverter, battery, solar string, and vehicle. Instead of an app per device, it presents one coordinated view of your whole system through a single mobile app and web console: real-time monitoring, consumption planning, solar generation tracking, and remote control.

Yes. Lucid OS includes full remote control — shutdown, restart, mode switching, and scheduling — from the LYD mobile app anywhere in the world, or from the browser console.

Yes. Lucid OS is edge-first by design. Every Orbit ships with a dedicated compute module, and your schedules, automation rules, and SCADA endpoints all execute locally on the hardware. Lose the internet, keep the lights on.

It does, with your consent. Within about a fortnight it has learned the rhythm of your home. It forecasts the next seven days of solar yield down to the hour, shifts loads around tariffs so you charge when power is cheap, and prioritises circuits when reserves run low — the fridge keeps running and the dryer waits.

Connections are encrypted end to end with hardware-rooted keys, using TLS 1.3 with certificate pinning. Your power data leaves your home only with your permission, and the behaviour-learning features run on consent rather than by default.

Lucid OS ships as an iOS and Android companion app plus a browser console. The console supports multi-site, multi-tenant access for installers, businesses, and fleet operators managing more than one location.

Three, each built for a different job. The Phantom X is a seven-seat SUV with 520 km of WLTP range from a 100 kWh pack, reaching 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds. The Nova is a sedan with 600 km of WLTP range from 90 kWh and a 3.6-second 0–100. The Flux 3 is a purpose-built taxi with 450 km of range from a 75 kWh LFP pack, seating four passengers plus the driver behind sliding rear doors.

The Phantom X goes from 10 to 80% in 28 minutes, the Nova in 22 minutes, and the Flux 3 from 20 to 80% in 25 minutes, all on a suitable DC fast charger. For home and destination charging, the Phantom X and Flux 3 take 11 kW AC onboard and the Nova takes 22 kW.

ARC NET is the LYD charging network, in three tiers. ARC Home is a residential wallbox delivering up to 22 kW. ARC Urban is a two-port AC fast hub at up to 50 kW per port, built for malls and hotels. ARC Highway is DC ultrafast at 350 kW per bay on a 1000 V architecture — 10 to 80% in under twenty minutes on the right car. One app, one tap, one bill across all three.

Yes. ARC NET is CCS2 native, so it works with every modern EV. The Urban tier also carries Type 2 for AC charging.

The first phase targets around 50 public stations across Lagos and Abuja in the second half of 2026, including Highway sites on the Lagos–Ibadan and Abuja–Kaduna expressways, with a Home wallbox shipping with every Phantom X. The plan then scales to a national corridor in 2027 and across West Africa from 2028. These are rollout targets rather than committed dates.

All three vehicles offer vehicle-to-load at 3.6 kW for running tools and appliances directly. They are also vehicle-to-home ready, so the car can back up the house through your LYD system — though as with selling power back to the grid, that depends on the regulations where you live.

Photon panels carry a 30-year linear power warranty holding 87.4% of rated output at year 30, alongside a 15-year product warranty. Orbit residential inverters carry 10 years limited, and Orbit X carries 10 years as standard, extendable to 20. SafeCell carries 10 years or 80% capacity retention, and Hyperpack carries a 10-year performance warranty with a 15-year service option. The Flux 3 drivetrain is covered for 500,000 km or 8 years.

Photon panels are warranted to still deliver 87.4% of their rated output after 30 years, and HJT cells degrade roughly half as fast as conventional PERC. SafeCell is rated for more than 6,000 charge cycles at 80% depth of discharge while retaining 80% of its capacity across the 10-year warranty period.

Photon panels operate from −40 °C to +85 °C and are Class A fire rated. Orbit inverters run from −25 °C to +60 °C with dust-filtered smart-fan cooling. SafeCell operates from −10 °C to +50 °C, and Hyperpack cabinets, which are liquid-cooled, run from −30 °C to +55 °C.

LYD takes a consumer electronics approach to energy products. Our devices are designed to be beautiful, intuitive, and integrated — not hidden utility boxes. And we build the full ecosystem rather than one box in it: panels, storage, inverters, charging, vehicles, and the software that runs them as a single system.

We are launching in select markets first and expanding quickly. Our published roadmap starts in Nigeria and moves through Ghana and Kenya, then into Rwanda and Côte d’Ivoire, and on to Zambia, South Africa, Tanzania, and Uganda — building toward a Pan-African infrastructure and manufacturing platform.

Smart City is the vision layer that ties the whole ecosystem together: a settlement designed from scratch to be lived in completely, with homes, schools, offices, malls, and parks within a walk of each other, powered entirely by renewable energy and coordinated by Lucid OS. It is a published blueprint and a concept visualisation rather than a project under construction — no site has been selected.
